Obninsk and Penza: friendship is growing stronger!

In the end of May the delegation from Penza has visited the First Scientific-Oriented Town. The administration of Obninsk city and the Government of the Penza region have signed the memorandum of cooperation.
And on June 18-th and 19-th Penza was visited by Obninsk delegation led by the Deputy Head of Administration Municipal Unit “Obninsk city” on financial-economic questions S.D.Medov. He is inprogress with questions of creation of Technological parks and realization of Program of innovative development of city and attraction of investments. Delegation also had included the General director GOU “Specialized child-youthful school of an Olympic reserve named by Larissa Latynina” O.G.Korkach; the General director of PJSC “Technoliga” I.N. Kravchenko; the Chief architect of PJSC “Technoliga” V.A. Shalamovich; Director on development of PJSC “Technoliga”, Chairman of the Supervisory council of consortium “Ruukki-Technoliga” S.V.Tkachenko; the General director of LLC “Eternit-Kaluga” A.I. Ilyin; the Head of group of sales of LLC ”Ruukki Rus” A.V.Logutenok.
It was shown to Obninsk’s delegation large industrial and sports units in Penza. Meetings with builders and teachers of the Penza State University of architecture and construction had also took place; meeting with experts of the Ministries and departments of the Government of the Penza region; a working meeting in Legislative Assembly of the Penza region.
On results of visit to Penza two agreements between the enterprises of Obninsk and Penza have been prepared.

First agreement is about creation of the Design-technological center of modern building technologies. “Technoliga” company, Finnish concern “Ruukki”, Belgian company “Etex Group”, which has a factory of fiber-cement plates in Detchino, and the Penza Architecturally-building State University (PABSU) will become its participants. The Center will have two branches – in Penza on the basis of PABSU, and in Obninsk – on the basis of “Technoliga” company. The center will be engaged in preparation of the architecturally-building staff on the basis of modern building technologies, joint designing of inhabited, industrial and social units, and also promotion of joint projects at construction as in territory of the Kaluga and Penza region, and behind their limits.

The second agreement concerns creation of an inter-regional building consortium where will be “Ruukki”, “Technoliga”, the Union of builders of Penza and the some building enterprises of this region. The consortium will participate in tenders for construction of large-scale units of industrial or housing-civil destination.
Taking into consideration structure of participants of consortium, it has certain competitive advantages.
It is supposed, that these agreements will be signed in solemn conditions during the Penza investment forum (it is planned for September 2009) where the Governor of the Kaluga region Anatoly Artamonov and the Head of administration of Obninsk city Nikolay Shubin are invited.
