V.V.Putin on Franz-Josef Land
April 29, 2010 the Government delegation under leadership by Prime minister of the Russian Federation V.V.Putin had visited island Alexandra’s Land in Franz-Josef Land archipelago.

Visit was devoted to ecological safety of Arctic Zone. Vladimir Vladimirovich had remarked that it is necessary to put Russian Arctic Zone in order and to carry on “Arctic Saturday and Sunday work party”. According to Premier, the level of pollution of soil and water by petroleum products and by chemicals in the some areas is exceeded maximum permissible level by 6 times. This is disastrous affected on flora and fauna of the region, including the “Master of Arctic”, noted in Red book polar bear. Premier had called to accumulate efforts of State and private companies to solve this very important problem. During the visit Vladimir Vladimirovich had visited the Cantonment of line branch “Nagurskoe” – most northern frontier post of country. Premier had given the high level estimate to built complex, especially noted that this complex had been built as a result of efforts only native companies. We would like to pay your attention that “Technoliga” company had performed design, delivery and chief-mounting service of the unit.
